Do you have a chess.com blitz rating between 2000-2300 (or an ambitious 1700-1999) and looking to reach an OTB master title? The ChessGoals OTB Master Study Plan was designed for you. The twelve-week plan will take the guesswork out of how to improve. Spend ~7 hours per week covering the core components of the plan. These core components are geared towards efficient progress. There is also an additional 7-10 hours per week of extra credit activities. Extra credit intends to give you the highest rating gains based on our improvement data.
This study plan does not attempt to teach you concepts like the traditional chess book. The program will give you a framework for chess improvement and help you build a study habit. To help keep you on track, post your progress on the Chess.com forums or consider joining our community. Joining the ChessGoals community is fun and rewarding as you work on your chess improvement with other chess learners.
The OTB Master Study Plan recommends having one endgame manual, a Yusupov training book, and recommends some chess.com features that benefit from premium membership.
